My name is Elżbieta Foryt. I graduated with a master’s degree in psychology (specializing in family psychology) from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. I am currently undergoing a comprehensive 5-year psychotherapeutic training program in the integrative approach, accredited by the Polish Psychiatric Association (PTP). I specialise in working with neurodivergent people.
I have gained experience in a variety of settings, including a special needs preschool, a psychological and pedagogical counselling center, and numerous volunteer activities (e.g., at the Crisis Intervention Center). I also work as a school psychologist in an integrative school and at the Alma Therapy Center, where I focus on psychological diagnostics.
I draw from various psychotherapy approaches in my therapeutic practice, tailoring my methods individually to each client. I integrate techniques from psychodynamic, systemic, and humanistic schools of thought. I am also inclined towards a solution-focused approach (SFBT).
In my online practice, I work with adolescents aged 15+ and adults, offering consultations, diagnostics, and psychotherapy.
I strive to create a safe and comfortable space for my clients. An individual approach and building on the personal strengths of clients are key aspects of my work.
My practice is a safe space for LGBTQ+ clients.
